Sarah J. Veinot, C.A.

Board Chair, Mount Saint Vincent University

Sarah Veinot is a Partner on the WBLI audit and assurance team and is unique in that she has experience in approaching
business challenges from “both sides of the desk”.

She is very involved with the complex task of scheduling the fi rm’s assignment load and ensuring that the appropriate
level of talent is brought to bear for every client situation. Sarah is also part of the fi rm’s recruiting team which has the
responsibility of attracting new staff to the fi rm, primarily from the stream of current university graduates aspiring to earn the
designation of Chartered Accountant. In addition, she assists the WBLI team in guiding both the training of the CA students
and the professional development of WLBI people.

Prior to joining WBLI, Sarah was controller for a privately owned company. This experience combined with her range of
services to fi rm’s clients make Sarah uniquely qualifi ed to advise small to medium sized businesses. The industries with
which Sarah is particularly experienced include owner-managed businesses, the fi shing industry, manufacturing, software
development, wholesale and retail operations and not-for-profi t organizations.

A graduate of Dalhousie University where she received a Bachelor of Commerce, Cum Laude, in 1991, Sarah went on to
earn her Chartered Accountant designation in 1993. She currently presides as Chair on Mount Saint Vincent University’s
Board of Governors.
