The Canadian University Boards Association exists to improve the governance of Canadian universities. It serves as a means of mobilizing the leadership of university boards to support and develop policies and programs that enhance the ability of boards to discharge their fiduciary duties and to be accountable for the overall direction of their universities.
The University of Toronto is excited to host the annual CUBA conference for 2021. In light of the ongoing restrictions due to the pandemic the conference will be held in a virtual format over three consecutive Fridays (April 30, May 7 and May 14) from 11:00 am EST to 2:30 p.m. EST.
The themes for each day are:
- Institutional Autonomy (April 30)
- Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (May 7)
- Universities in a Post-COVID World (May 14)
The format for each day will be a keynote address followed by panel discussions. We are partnering with an external audiovisual company to provide a high-quality virtual conference experience.
